The next round of applications to become a Grow together community garden partner is open for Hawke's Bay and Taranaki. 

Hawke’s Bay and Taranaki, we need your help! Nominate your local school to become one of our community garden partners. A selected school will receive everything they need to build, plant and grow a veggie garden on their school grounds.

Simply use the Grow Together nomination form below from Monday 4 August and get those green thumbs tapping! Submissions close Sunday 7 September 2025

Community gardens don’t just grow veggies—they also create organic waste that can break down naturally to produce biogas. By supporting school gardens, we’re helping communities learn about biogas and how it can become renewable energy for our homes.
